EasyGallery is a very easy way to generate thumbnail galleries. All you need is a folder of images.

Long information

EasyGallery allows you to:

Installation Notes

To install EasyGallery, simply unzip it to your server. EasyGallery comes in two folders, gallery and admin. To ensure that noone can mess with your gallery, Either rename the folder admin or password protect it using .htaccess.

The folder "gallery" must not be renamed, and for EasyGallery to work properly, you need to set read and write permissions to it (chmod 777).

To start EasyGallery, simply open the "index.php" in the gallery folder in your browser.

EasyGallery is a web application provided with its own help function.

Simply open it in a browser and click the help link in the uppermost navigation

Known Bugs

- The thumbnails don't have the Quality of thumbnails you do with a real graphics program, this is due to gd_lib using only 256 colors rather than truecolor, gd_lib2 users should get better results.
- Non W3C standard compliant browser users might see some display odditites, this is due to EasyGallery being 100% xHTML and CSS1 compliant.
